Barbara Jean-Baptiste, Registered Dental Hygienist

Barbara Jean-Baptiste Barbara was born in Miami, Florida. Soon after birth, she and her family moved to Port-Au-prince, Haiti. When she was 16 she came back to the United States, where she completed her High School education in Stamford CT. When considering what type of career field she might be well suited for, she reflected on the lack of dental services offered in Haiti. She knew from her personal experience with limited dental care how crucial dental care is in the prevention of oral health issues. She determined that she would pursue dental hygiene as a profession.

Barbara graduated from New York University in 2013 and has been working as a dental hygienist ever since. She loves what she does as a hygienist. She enjoys educating her patients in ways that will allow them to maintain their oral health for a lifetime. Barbara loves her profession, but her most rewarding role is the one she plays as loving wife, and mother to two beautiful children.

One of Barbara’s greatest passions is to travel- both local and abroad! Most importantly though, she loves seeing the people she cares for with a big smile!
